The Daedric Towershield can be enchanted to give you a fortification of 1-89 in Speed on equip (meaning if you equip the item and it hasn't fortified your Speed to a satisfactory degree, you can simply unequip and reequip for another chance at rolling a high number- you can do this as long as your patience allows).
The one I used here, to my knowledge, allows for the highest levels of enchantment per armor piece (not including the boots, which I'll touch upon in a moment). As a result, it's important to pick an optimized armor set. As you may know, each piece of equipment in Morrowind has a certain enchantment capacity attached to it- some items cannot be imbued with enchantments to the extent that other items can. I recommend using a Mage's Guild enchanter even though the price for each enchantment is so inanely high simply because it beats burning through one of the limited Grand Soul Gems in the game, but I'm sure some would debate me on that- you can enchant your equipment yourself if you so desire.īut what equipment to enchant? Well, that is an excellent question. Ultimately all you'll be doing is enchanting the most optimized set of armor for enchanting with all Fortify Speed enchantments. The method, which I'll cover in detail below, is enormously impractical, but will, indeed, allow you to go fast. It just requires quite a bit of gold, quite a high Player Character level, or both in order to be achieved. And you don't even have to cheat like I did.Īll methods of boosting speed up until 0:44 were legitimately attainable using in-game means.
